Intervention Platform Bolstered By Turnover Risk Identification Functionality

Stay Metrics (acquired by Tenstreet) recently updated its existing Interventions platform, providing carriers with more opportunities to head off driver turnover. Through its onboarding surveys, Stay Metrics has been providing clients with insights into which new drivers may be at risk of leaving. In the past, this has been done by identifying drivers based on the answers they give to Stay Metrics’ First Impressions and Early Experience Surveys, given to drivers shortly after they start with a company, and again several weeks later.

In addition to notifications based on survey responses, inactivity can now also trigger alerts

Now, the current platform will also notify clients of intervention opportunities based on whether a driver has not responded to survey invitations after several outreach attempts. Stay Metrics has always provided information about drivers who have not responded to their survey invitations, but now this information will be included through the intervention tool, where opportunities can be assigned, and status and outcomes are reported. Clients will have the ability to leave this new functionality on or off and can work with their Stay Metrics contact to adjust how many non-responses are required before an intervention notification is created. Receiving a notification that a driver may be at risk of leaving enables clients to take efficient, preemptive action, instead of discovering too late that a driver was unhappy with their experience.

“This upgrade broadens the information we provide clients regarding their fleets,” stated Jerry Scott, COO of Stay Metrics. “In addition to seeing if a driver is actively indicating their unhappiness, clients can now also identify drivers at risk of leaving based on lack of engagement, providing another important retention opportunity.”

When coupled with Stay Metrics’ other recent upgrade that switched the Interventions platform from weekly to daily updates, carriers can further commit to immediately reducing driver turnover numbers and driving profitability.
